Proper treatment can be challenging even for the most seasoned provider. We will review case presentations with photos of mild, mild-moderate and severe atopic dermatitis management along with recommended treatment and pit fall strategies. This presentation will offer an online algorithm and newly developed app to guide the clinician in atopic dermatitis recommended care. Dupilumab biologic medication is transforming patients’ lives with moderate – severe atopic dermatitis. A patient’s experience with dupilumab treatment will be shared.

In the absence of skilled lactation support, infant crying and unsettled behavior are often misconstrued as a sign of milk insufficiency or inadequacy and can lead to formula supplementation and premature cessation of breastfeeding. In this presentation, infant developmental adaptive behaviors will be presented to assist parents in interpreting infant feeding and disorganized sleep behaviors and how to respond accordingly without undermining breastfeeding.

This session will provide an overview of the epidemiology of youth suicide, and present evidenced-based approaches to preventing this tragic loss of young life. Related health equity and social determinant of health issues, including lethal means reduction will be discussed. The session will also introduce the Alliance to Prevent Youth Suicide, a new five year initiative supported by NAPNAP Partners for Vulnerable Youth.
