The fee for this course is $175 for NAPNAP Members and $200 for non-members. The certification exam review resources are designed to prepare graduates of acute care PNP programs for the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) acute care certification exam. Aligning with the revised content outline, these resources will focus on system-based acute care content and the role of the PNP in assessment, diagnosis and management of children with acute, critical and complex pediatric illnesses. NAPNAP’s self-paced certification exam review course includes recordings and downloadable handouts from our live acute care certification review course on Sept. 21-23, 2023. The course will award 17.75 CE. Note: If you completed and claimed credit for NAPNAP’s live certification review course, CE awarded for this online course will not be valid.

In the absence of skilled lactation support, infant crying and unsettled behavior are often misconstrued as a sign of milk insufficiency or inadequacy and can lead to formula supplementation and premature cessation of breastfeeding. In this presentation, infant developmental adaptive behaviors will be presented to assist parents in interpreting infant feeding and disorganized sleep behaviors and how to respond accordingly without undermining breastfeeding.
