When You're Not Born With It! Critical Cases in Acquired Cardiac Disease

1.5 NAPNAP Contact Hour, 0.5 Pharmacology Contact Hour. This continuing education activity is offered at a reduced rate to NAPNAP Members. This continuing education activity rate is $15 for NAPNAP Members. For non- members, this continuing education activity rate is $30. 
Jennifer Joiner is a dual certified pediatric nurse practitioner who serves as the inpatient nurse practitioner for The Children’s Heart Center at the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio for Baylor College of Medicine. Jen has had the privilege of taking care of almost every population of patient in critical care and has been a preceptor and lead of several advanced practice groups. She served as an original test item writer for the PNCB's pilot exam in Acute Care in 2004 and assisted the PNCB by writing acute care pediatric updates for many years.

This continuing education activity is administered by the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) as an Agency providing continuing education credit. Individuals who complete this program will be awarded 1.5 NAPNAP contact hour, of which 0.5 is pharmacology content.
