Tick Talk: Digging Deeper into Lyme Disease

Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne disease in the U.S., with a childhood peak at five to nine years of age. Pediatric-focused APRNs in both high and low incidence areas may encounter patients in whom Lyme disease is a concern. This presentation will provide an in-depth review of Lyme disease testing and interpretation, discuss when (and when not) to treat and examine the current knowledge regarding prolonged symptoms.
