Think Outside the Hospital: Smarter Outpatient Care for Children with Medical Complexity
This continuing education activity is a recorded presentation for NAPNAP's 2026 National Conference.
Children with medical complexity (CMC) make up a small portion of the pediatric population but drive a disproportionate share of health care spending, much of it due to avoidable hospitalizations. This case-based presentation, led by an expert panel, empowers clinicians to confidently manage common CMC conditions like tracheitis, dehydration and granulomas. Attendees will learn to recognize typical presentations, red flags and treatment strategies, helping them “think outside the hospital” and reduce unnecessary admissions.
The course will award 1.00 contact hours, including 0.25 hours of pharmacology content. This activity is offered at a reduced rate to NAPNAP Members. This continuing education activity rate is $10 for NAPNAP Members, and $20 for non-members.
