This course will provide the necessary education enabling pediatric practice providers and staff to successfully prevent RSV in the most vulnerable pediatric populations using the recommendations to administer the appropriate RSV prevention to infants based on weight, age, pre-term birth history, presence of chronic conditions and race.

Learning Objectives
Stacy Buchanan, DNP, CPNP-PC
Dr. Buchanan has been a pediatric primary care nurse practitioner for nearly 20 years. She obtained her BSN from the University of Michigan, MSN at Emory University and DNP from Georgia State University. Currently Stacy spends part of her time working in primary care and part of her time with Emory University Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing as an Assistant Professor-Clinical Track. Caregiver vaccine hesitancy is her area of clinical research, specifically finding ways to combat this growing phenomenon with clinical evidence. Stacy supports widespread immunizations, equal access to all vaccines and education of parents as they make the decision to vaccinate.
