Adolescence is a time of exploring and risk taking. Many teenagers experiment with alcohol, tobacco, marijuana and now kratom due to increased availability in our communities. We will explore the consequences of acute intoxication, the combining of substances for euphoric and synergistic effects, and adolescence developmental implications.
