Identification and Treatment of Eating Disorders in the Adolescent Population
This educational session will provide an overview of eating disorders in the adolescent population. Attendees will gain knowledge of clinical symptoms associated with eating disorders as well as proper screening of this population. The session will focus on evidence-based therapeutic modalities and medical management of patients diagnosed with eating disorders.
This continuing education activity is administered by the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) as an Agency providing continuing education credit. Individuals who complete this program and earn a 70% or higher score on the post test will be awarded 1.0 NAPNAP contact hours, of which 0.25 is pharmacology content.
