A Healthier Generation of Families
This interactive slide presentation will discuss nutritional requirements from birth to adolescence using CDC guidelines. Participants will review important vitamins and minerals needed for optimal growth and development for children and adolescents and how to achieve a healthy diet when there are food intolerances, avoidances and allergies.
This continuing education activity is administered by the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) as an Agency providing continuing education credit. Individuals who complete this program and earn a 70% or higher score on the post test will be awarded 1.0 NAPNAP contact hours, of which 0 is pharmacology content.
