Most providers in the ICUs are very familiar with CRRT, but CRRT is not the only option. There is the newer push to prolonged intermittent renal replacement therapy (PIRRT), and there are also the options to do acute hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis. This presentation would be aimed to help the ACPNP to understand the difference and when one would be preferred over the other.
