  • Identify reported symptoms that may be present in children with COVID-19, recognize appropriate COVID-19 testing parameters and procedures for children.
  • Recommend appropriate measures for caring for children with COVID-19, including treatment of symptoms.
  • Distinguish signs that may indicate a need to seek emergency care for children with COVID-19.
  • Prepare families with measures to reduce the risk of infection spread, mitigate adverse health effects in high-risk children, and to promote general health through preventive care.
  • Identify strategies to help parents to help minimize their child’s concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Identify key measures to enhance the quality of telemedicine encounters, ensure legal and regulatory compliance, and maximize reimbursement in light of COVID-19.
