PNPs, both in private practice as well as academia, receive frequently, often daily, solicitations to attend as well as present at continuing education conferences globally. While there has been a recent focus in some graduate programs on avoiding predatory publishers, there may not be robust material included regarding avoiding the pitfalls of predatory conference organizers. This session will share evidence-based methods of identifying red flags as well as advice on how to investigate legitimacy when considering attending or submitting for presentation at a solicited meeting.

Please note that this program is an archived session NAPNAP's Pediatric Virtual Symposium: 2025 Targeted Topics. If you had attended 2025 virtual symposium and earned CE for this session, this course will be a duplicate.
