TikTok Toxidromes: Review of Overdose Trends in Adolescents

Overdoses, whether intentional or unintentional, were the second leading cause of death in adolescents aged 12-19 from 2018-2022, surpassed over by gun violence. Social media "challenges" often influence the type of substances ingested. This presentation will review current ingestion trends using case studies, ensuring that participants are prepared to identify and treat the sequelae of these toxidromes.
