Autoimmune Diseases for Pediatric Primary Care Providers 1.5 NAPNAP Contact Hour. This continuing education activity is offered at a reduced rate to NAPNAP Members. This course will familiarize pediatric primary care providers with the identification and management of common rheumatologic diseases. Providers will gain a better understanding of the initial presenting symptoms of common pediatric autoimmune diseases, including juvenile idiopathic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, IgA vasculitis, Kawasaki disease and rheumatic fever. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the utility of laboratory evaluation and health promotion for this patient population. |

Stop Child Trafficking in Your Community: Become an ACT Advocate (2024) 1.5 NAPNAP Contact Hours. This continuing education activity rate is $30 for NAPNAP Members and for non- members. This life-saving, innovative workshop and leadership opportunity is specifically developed for pediatric focused NPs to learn about child trafficking, methods of identification and referral and, most importantly, prevention. There are more people enslaved in labor and/or sex trafficking than at any point in history, meaning children of all socio-economic profiles are at risk with some populations more vulnerable than others.
