This module will introduce telehealth delivered by Nurse Practitioners in the context of a primary care practice.  This module introduces the basic concepts of Telehealth Interprofessional Practice. This course is an archived presentation from NAPNAP's 2023 National Conference and is offered free with a coupon for conference attendees until 12/31/23.  Building upon our novel 2021 COVID-19 study on the pediatric APRN workforce - the only study to assess impact on pediatric-focused APRNs - the 2022 follow-up study illuminates the unique impacts of COVID-19 on pediatric patients, families and the APRN workforce. NAPNAP member needs and priorities have evolved, therefore results from this study are highly relevant to the NAPNAP membership and will inform NAPNAP on strategic organizational priorities across practice, education, research and policy arenas.

This session will review the use of evidence-based resources to assist pediatric-focused APRN providers in leading the response to the epidemic of mental health crises in our youth (including anxiety, trauma, and depression). Clinicians will utilize tools including the AAP Blueprint for Youth Suicide Prevention to identify, support, and treat children and adolescents at risk for suicide in any practice setting. Attendance at this session will help increase the practitioner’s confidence in addressing these issues in daily practice. NAPNAP Partners for Vulnerable Youth is pleased to support this course.
