Why should you be concerned about tick bites?  While the bite is small, we should worry about tick bites as ticks are vectors for various diseases including: Anaplasmosis, Babesiosis, Lyme Disease, Powassan, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Tularemia, and others.

2. Participants will be able to communicate key messages to specific age groups, ethnic groups, and educational levels about vector-borne diseases and strategies for helping to prevent their occurrence.
3. Participants will be able to identify key symptoms of vector-borne diseases and counsel children and their parents when immediate medical attention/intervention is indicated.
